rain shadow poetry festival
language and the land

Cumberland BC
august 22 – 24, 2025

The primary goal of rain shadow poetics lab is to foster the poetic continuum of the Cascadian bioregion by ‘doing the work’: scratching our marks in the trailside and greeting fellow travellers. With this in mind, we have made great efforts to keep the festival accessible and affordable.

While each of this year’s events is priced individually below, we are also proud to offer the cedar and copper festival passes, which provide a 20% discount over individual ticket prices.
